Terms of service.
The plain-English structure of our terms across the three products.
What Care World is — and isn’t
Care World is an introducer. It helps families and independent, self-employed carers find each other and connect directly. It does not provide, arrange, supervise or manage care; it does not assign, select or rank carers; and it is not a CQC-registered care provider. Any care arrangement is made directly between the family and the carer.
Your 14-day right to cancel
If you buy from us as a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. What you get back depends on what you bought: a pass or a subscription keeps the right and you pay only a proportionate amount for the part already provided, while a Library course loses it once we make the course available — which is why we ask you to agree to that, expressly, before you buy.
How to cancel, what you get back, and the model cancellation form. Cancelling is never harder than buying was, there is no cancellation fee, and you never have to give a reason.
Background checks
Where shown, the phrase “Checked by partner” means the carer has completed a background check through our third-party checking partner. Families remain responsible for their own checks and decisions.
What Care Vault is — and isn’t
Care Vault records and organises care information as directed by its users. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical interpretation. In an emergency, always call 999.
What the Library is — and isn’t
Library courses support professional development and end with certificates of completion. They are not regulated qualifications and do not license anyone to provide regulated care.
Payments
Subscription and one-off fees are set out on each product’s pricing page. What families pay carers is agreed between them; Chronix Health Group takes no share of it.
Accounts & acceptable use
One account works across the three products. Misuse — including misrepresentation on profiles — leads to removal.
This page is a plain-English summary. The binding terms for each product are shown in full — and accepted — at the point each one applies: the carer agency terms and the family (hirer) terms before an introduction opens, the Care Vault confidentiality undertaking when a carer is granted access to someone’s record, and the course terms when you buy a course. Those are the terms that apply.
